Cellar & Beer Quality Management


What is it?

The Cellar and Beer Quality Management Certificate is designed to help licensees ensure that their beer is consistently served in an optimum condition.

The course aims to increase sales and decrease wastage.

How is it assessed?

By examination. Candidates sit a 45-minute multiple choice examination.

How long is the course leading to the examination?

The course comprises one and a half training days. This may be reduced to one day through pre-course reading preparation.

What support material is available?

A comprehensive workbook is supplied to each candidate.

What does a candidate receive on successful assessment?

The Cellar and Beer Quality Management Certificate - a national qualification awarded by the BIIAB.


The Advanced Cellar and Beer Quality Management Certificate can be used as part of the AQ Diploma portfolio.
