Professional Barperson's Qualification
Who is the qualification for?
It is designed for barpersons working in on-licensed premises in England and Wales.
What does the course cover?
The qualification comprises two units – the Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing, and Customer and Drinks Service . In order to achieve the qualification candidates must successfully complete both units. Information about each unit is given under their separate titles shown in the qualifications menu.
What does the candidate get to say he/she has passed?
A certificate for the Professional Barperson’s Qualification is awarded by BIIAB for candidates who have successfully passed both units.
